Our Mission

Knowledge and understanding of substance abuse

Together, we can change the future of our generations. In The United States, We strive to spread awareness regarding the opioid epidemic which has led to sky high rates of overdose deaths. Our mission is to provide strategies to individuals and families to fight against substance abuse.

Transforming the lives of those individual to a brighter future is our aim. We empower individuals and the families with knowledge to give a brief knowledge and understanding of substance abuse disorder and addiction. Farzana Tariq. M.D.

Dr. Tariq graduated from Fatima Jinnah Medical College in Pakistan in 2007 and received her ECFM certification in 2008. Dr. Tariq completed 2 years of Fellowship research in Cerebrovascular and Skull Base from the University of Seattle, WA 2011-2013. She joined Wayne State University in 2013 as a Pre resident Fellow in Neurosurgery and then joined the department as a Resident in 2014. Dr. Tariq completed 5 years of accredited training in Neurosurgery at Wayne State University, Detroit Medical Center, Detroit, MI 2014-2020. Dr Tariq has published 20 peer review articles, authored 10 book chapters and published 9 video chapters. She has participated in multiple national and international conferences and courses. Therapist

Mr. Cline earned his Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University in 2009 prior to relocating to North Carolina; maintaining his social work clinical licensure (LCSW). He has extensive experience working with individuals from a strengths perspective while utilizing an individualized person-centered approach to assist his clients in effectively identifying, utilizing, and strengthening coping mechanisms to improve distress management.

Mr. Cline joined FMRC in March of 2017 until August of 2018 and recently returned in January 2021. He has a valuable and impressive history of providing individual and group therapy to treat depression, bipolar disorder, severe anxiety disorders, and various substance use disorders. Additionally, Mr. Cline has specialized and developed a passion for working with LGBTQ+ identified individuals; ensuring a safe and welcoming therapeutic atmosphere to explore, express, understand, and embrace potential concerns surrounding gender identity and/or sexual orientation.
